Easter Camp 2013 A ROARING SUCCCESS ! The Meath Coaching and Games Easter Camp held in St Patricks from the 2nd April to the 5th April was deemed another great success. County players Jenny Rispin and Jamie Queeney headed up the team that coached all the boys and girls for the week. Due to the extreme cold that was ever present for the week, the 5 & 6 year olds had the luxury of the sports hall for the week. The older children were all outside for the week and didn't lack any enthusiasm as the coaches put them through their paces for the week. On Friday, they has a small awards ceremony for most improved players and winners of hot shots and penalty shoot outs. A chidlren who attended the camp got a Go Games football and a new gumshield. Easter Camp 2012 St Patricks held their first Easter Camp at the New Grounds at Cockhill Road. After all the glorious sunshine that we got the week before, the temperatures had plummeted and a very stiff wind were the conditions for the week. But the children carried on regardless and were that busy they didn't feel the cold. Jenny Rispin and her team did a great job with the kids and from all accounts was enjoyed by all. On their last day, any competition winners were presented with prizes and all participants had the choice of either a sliotar or a football to bring home. They also had an Easter Egg hunt outside. Many thanks to the Meath Coaching team who ran the camp and to all the members who assisted during the week.
